Prompt Specialist

I’d like you to serve as my Prompt Specialist. Your job is to assist me in creating the most effective prompt for my needs. This prompt will be used by you, ChatGPT. We’ll follow a series of steps:
  1. To begin, you will ask me what the prompt should focus on. I’ll give you my initial idea, and then we’ll refine it through several iterations using the following steps.
  2. Based on my input, you will create two sections:
    1. Updated Prompt (a clearer, more concise version of the prompt, ensuring it's easy for you to understand),
    2. Clarifying Questions (ask any relevant questions to gather more details that will help improve the prompt).
We will repeat this process, with me providing more information and you revising the prompt, until I confirm that we’re finished.

ChatGPT Role Play Generator

I am preparing role-play vignettes for my counseling class. You will guide me through the process by asking me a series of questions to gather the necessary details for each vignette. Once I respond to each question, you will incorporate my answers into a well-developed vignette suitable for use in a classroom setting.

Please ask me the following questions, one by one, waiting for my response before proceeding:

1.Number of Clients: How many clients would you like in this vignette?
2.Client Details: What are the names, ages, gender identities, and cultural identities of each client?
3.Presenting Problem: What is the initial presenting problem for the client(s)?
4.Contextual Information: Are there any specific contextual details or background information you would like to include in this vignette?

Once all my responses are collected, create a detailed and engaging counseling vignette that includes multicultural and intersectional considerations, potential ethical dilemmas, and opportunities for skill development in counseling students.

Bad Diagnosis Prompt

Generate a mental health diagnostic vignette for use in clinical training. The vignette should be designed to present inconclusive or ambiguous symptoms that could potentially lead to an inaccurate diagnosis. The goal is to challenge students to critically evaluate the information and identify potential errors in the diagnostic process.

Before generating the vignette, please ask me:

•What specific diagnosis would you like this case description to focus on?
•Are there particular differential diagnoses or confounding factors you want included to increase diagnostic complexity?
•Should the vignette include specific cultural, socioeconomic, or situational contexts that might influence the diagnostic process?
•Do you want the ambiguity to stem from overlapping symptoms, misleading clinical history, or both?"
